Встряну. Эти проблемы наблюдаются не только с alsa.
У меня перестал цепляться i2c-ali15x3 о чём уже есть сообщение в BTS(#116).
В терминале при modprobe были вопли про лицензию.
В /var/log/messages гораздо более прозаические сообщения про то, что
некоторая область, которая ему нужна (0xe800) уже кем то занята.
(ALI15X3_smb region 0xe800 already in use)
Откат на 2.4.7 решил проблему.
