А почему бы тогда не вынести это в настройки принтера?
P.S. Добавлю еще, что при печати снимков отпечатанное изображение как-то
странно себя ведет, а именно: чем больше красного, тем еще сильнее этот цвет
выпиает при печати из gimp.
