Здравствуйте,
Сделал очередной dist-upgrade, в ходе которого установились
kernel 2.4.9-alt4 и XFree 4.1.0-alt8. Столкнулся со следующими
очень неприятными багами:
1) Перестала работать alsa (естественно, я ее обновил, модули
все на месте)

Строчки в modules.conf, естественно, правильные, работают еще
со времен Mandrake-RE 7.0
Модуль ядра via82cxxx_audio к счастью работает, но не устраивает тем,
что убыстренно воспроизводит звук, процентов на 5 всего, но это
очень заметно, особенно когда рядом стоящая Windows box играет эту же
песню в нормальном темпе ;-)
2) У меня установлена видеокарта ATI Radeon, и в XFree и в консоли
(framebuffer) работает в разрешении 1152x864@106Hz
Гружусь в первый раз с новым ядром, в консоли все нормально, стартую
Иксы - бабах! - картинка уехала вправо сантиметра на 3, двигаю картинку,
выхожу из Иксов - уехала _влево_ на те же три сантиметра. Переключаюсь
пару раз туда-сюда, прыгает, монитор естественно настройки запомнить не
может - видеорежим ведь одинаковый! Грохать и пересоздавать XF86Config-4
пробовал, безрезультатно.
Что делать и кто виноват? :-)
P.S. Можно ли как-нибудь в стартовом меню KDE 2.2 отключить пунктирную
полосочку, "отклеивающую" это самое меню? Что-то она мне глаза мозолит :-)
