- Added new options: --nopatch, --nosource (voins).
- Changed default compress method to: filesize (instead of df).
- Added new method of finding provides: pam.
- Added new methods of finding requires: files, pam.
- Changed findreq_default_method to: files, lib, pam, perl, shell.
- Changed findprov_default_method to: lib, pam, perl.
- Synced update-alternatives with current Debian version.
- Updated gpg keyring.
- Build with new libpopt.
Хотел бы обратить Ваше внимание на то, что:
+ Тэги NoSource и NoPatch теперь понимают несколько аргументов;
кроме того, новые (экспериментальные) опции --nosource и --nopatch
делают применение этих тэгов ненужными, ибо проще сделать, например,
"rpm -bs --nosource='0 1 3'". (автор идеи и реализации - Alexey Voinov).
+ Реализованы новые методы поиска зависимостей; все доступные методы
теперь включены по умолчанию.
+ Как известно, /bin/rpm слинкован статически. Во время сборки был
использован свежий libpopt из cvs.
+ Эта версия пакета rpm, по видимому, является последней в серии rpm3.
Ведется работа по переходу на rpm4 и все нововведения будут уже там.
