Сменить в /etc/logrotate.d/apache 'reload' на 'restart' или 'SIGUSR1'
на 'SIGHUP'. Рестарт будет грубее, возможно, будут теряться записи в
логах и соединения тех, кто запросит страницу в 4 утра (местного времени).
2AB: С этим надо что-то делать. Не пробовали отлаживать?
