Мне так и не удалось заставить Sawfish в Sisyphus 20010119 выводить
сообщения в его меню нормально для неанглийских языков. Везде идут
вопросительные знаки и скорее всего ошибка в не совсем корректном
поведении пакета rep.i18n.gettext в новой среде glibc 2.2.1.
Там есть еще одна ошибка в обработке переменных окружения LANG, LANGUAGE,
LC_MESSAGES, LC_ALL -- не учитывается, например, LANGUAGE=ru_RU.KOI8-R:ru,
вся последовательность воспринимается как комбинация язык_СТРАНА.
