У меня примерно такое же наблюдалось на ноуте, когда перешел с ядра
2.4. на 2.6, при этом выяснилось, что не правильно читались структуры
из /proc/acpi
в моем случае это было связано с wmacpi и решилось это с помощью
перепысывания программы (переписывал не я - нашел в Инете модификацию).
