Исправляется это небольшим патчем который находится в домашнем
каталоге пользователя oracle и последующим перезапуском программы
genclntsh cd $ORACLE_HOME patch -p0 < ~/genclntsh.patch
bin/genclntsh
После этого можно вернуться к инсталятору и нажать кнопку Retry
(я это делаю во время смены 2 на 3 инсталяционный диск Оракля, чтоб
вообще все было гладко и пушисто)

Все очень красиво. Но.
Откуда возникает патч упомянутый в п.3?
В oracle9-tuning-0.2-alt3.noarch.rpm и
oracle-preinstall-0.2-alt3.noarch.rpm ничего похожего нет.
Самое интересное. Oracle 8.1.7, Oracle 9i developer ставитася без особых
проблем. А с Oracle 9i server возникают непонятные эффекты.
А именно: падает инсталлятор. В логах пустота. В терминалке, откуда
все запускалось - чистота.
Ничего не понимаю. У кого-нибудь есть разумные идеи?
