Так ведь это же засада. Самым удобным расположением рабочего стола
является именно сам домашний каталог, что я проверил на своей шкуре.
Однако, с этим связана мелкая неприятность. Эволюция и некоторые другие
программы гадят прямо на рабочий стол мусорными, то есть не мной
созданными, каталогами без точки в имени. Иными словами, этот самый
~/Desktop оказывается мусором, который я на автомате выношу в помойку
вместе с автостартом внутри.
Насколько это безобразие успело стандартизироваться, и нельзя ли
переименовать этот каталог в ~/.autostart (а ~/evolution в ~/.evolution)
из коробки?
