А интересно, планируется ли в ближайшее время апгрейд binutils'ов в
Sisyphus? У меня в локальном мирроре болтается
binutils-2.11.92.0.12.3-alt1.src.rpm, скачанное где-то в ноябре, в то
время как основным (и последним по дате) в Sisyphus почему-то является
binutils-2.11.90.0.31-alt2.i586.rpm (за 19 декабря). С .92 обнаружились
проблемы? Или что?
То есть, все бы ничего, но сегодня при сборке mplayer'а при помощи
gcc-3.0.3 (штатный компилятор по-прежнему 2.96-ipl14mdk) ld упал с
дикими криками на Internal error в одной из функций. Проблема (пока)
решилась заменой binutils (binutils-2.11.92.0.12-6mdk) из Cooker'а, да и
причин особых строчить багрепорты на такую солянку, в общем, нет, но
хотелось бы прояснить ситуацию...
Да, кстати, знатокам: есть ли какие-либо способы потюнить avifile? А то
ведь как-то неспортивно получается: в mplayer (0.60+, из CVS) на Шреке
загрузка проца (Cel-745) по top'у - ~30% (кодек ffdivx), письмо вот пишу
в параллели, а у avifile'а - 100% и дикий framedrop (до 50%) и
отсутствие синхронизации. Плюс у mplayer никаких проблем с
позиционированием, берешь и тащишь ползунок, куда надо...

меня сейчас туда доступа нет, а квота выбирается...
