Я писал о решении, письмо с mailru не прошло...
И так:
"Пятка" -> Настройки -> GNOME -> Просмотр HTML -> выбрать русские шрифты
Иногда, после захода в меню Evo настройки сбрасываются.

Не наступал...

Тоже не наступал...
Наступил на другие грабли:
1) При редактировании письма и вклеивании в него чего-либо, вклеенные
файлы комментируются шрифтом Latin-1
2) Тело письма перекодируется хорошо, а заголовок - нет.
А в остальном - очень приятная штука.
Не хватает:
1) Интеграции с Notes (хотя бы на уровне почты и календаря), Отображение
БД - это уж вряд ли.
2) Получения писем при старте EVO.
