Свежая самба не хочет менять пароль.
1) по дефалту в качестве password program стоит /bin/passwd а не /bin/passwd
%u
2)на любой пароль от WinME в лог летит
Mar 6 23:38:22 server smbd[22437]: check_oem_password: incorrect password
length (-1701513984).
что бы это значило?
стоят пакеты:
[root@server samba]# rpm -qa |grep samba
samba-common-2.2.3-alt2
samba-swat-2.2.3-alt2
samba-doc-2.2.3-alt2
samba-2.2.3-alt2
при попытке включить pam password change = yes
имеем тоже самое.
