Я еще одну штуку подскажу по старой памяти.
Не знаю, как сейчас, но ранее самба теряла информацию о компах в
рабочей группе. Т.е. периодически пропадали машины из списков.
Так что лучше бы составить список руками (или собирать его на
длительной основе, кешируя данные) и пытаться достучаться и забрать
данные по такому списку.
