Кстати фикс багов (правка авторского кода) это только 1 из
многочисленных вариантов как можно помочь GNU/Linux. (Тем не менее мой
success story: http://habrahabr.ru/post/180181/ )
Есть много путей как можно помочь. Нужен перевод на родной язык
страниц, по которым учатся помогать дистрибутивам (нужны
переводчики!), не во всех пакетах есть screenshots, можно просто
поделать скриншоты программ для дистрибутивов тоже уже помощь.
И вообще: http://www.debian.org/intro/help
Вариантов масса, нужно только решение помочь.
