На 8.10 нужно было ставить дополнительное ядро.
9.04 уже поддерживает его из коробки.
Я поставил 8.10, накатил скрипты и обновился до 9.04.
В результате скрипты остались а ядро уже дефолтное бунтовское
Все работает
