Проще говоря - кому что нравится, или кто к чему привык. У меня убунта
работает с полугодовыми аптаймами и не плачет. Альт я ставил, пытался
пользовать, но обиделся на отсутствие гнома и reiserfs в стандартной
поставке и снес. Впрочем, не отрицаю его преимуществ как русского
дистрибутива и рассылки альта читаю внимательно. Сейчас на десктопе снес
убунту и эксперименчу с гентой и xfs. Но оно для того и предназначено.
