На линуксовке спросили - отвечаю.
Если звук сам не определился (что при наличии запущенных сервисов kudzu и/ИЛИ hotplug большая редкость):
1. проверяем /etc/modules.conf на наличие следующих строчек:
above snd-pcm-oss snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-slot-0 snd-intel8x0
above snd-intel8x0 snd-pcm-oss
где snd-intel8x0 - модуль для звуковой карты (подходит для большинства материнок на i810-i815 - спрашивали именно про нее)
2. если не помогаем запускаем sndconfig, списываем название модуля, добавляем эти же три строчки, но с нужным модулем
2a. Можно посто добавить имя модуля в /etc/modules не трогая modules.conf
3.Если при установке Altа не выбрать Multimedia workstation при выборе пакетов, то звук будет заглушен микшером (все настроено, но громкость установлена в 0). Лечится:
alsamixer
выбираем уровень на нужных каналах
alsactl store
запоминаем настройки
4. если ничего из вышеперечисленное не помогает, обратитесь к разработчику :)
PS: Все вышесказанное не являестя истиной в последней инстанции и может быть оспорено более компетентными товарищами ;)
