Домашний "роботяга"

Компания Mitsubishi Heavy Industries представила нового робота на
колесах, который, по словам разработчиков, в будущем станет настоящим
"другом семьи" - няней, сиделкой, сторожем и уборщицей. Ярко-желтый
робот высотой 1 метр с выпуклыми черными "глазами" на круглой "голове"
оснащен встроенными камерами и может распознавать голоса и лица -
искать их, следовать командам и реагировать на жесты и движения.
Экспериментальный робот будет помогать пожилым людям. Робот работает
на базе операционной системы Linux, оснащен доступом в Интернет и
может, находясь в доме, посылать сделанные своими камерами снимки на
мобильные телефоны и компьютеры. Робота также можно запрограммировать
таким образом, чтобы он посылал сообщения по электронной почте, если
услышит сильный шум или увидит в доме что-то необычное. Машина может
задавать вопросы типа "Ты поздно вернулся домой. Чем ты занимался?".
