Linux, а вовсе не Microsoft Windows, является наиболее часто атакуемой
операционной системой -- об этом сообщает британская компания по
безопасности. В течение августа количество успешных и проверенных атак
на on-line серверы, работающие под управлением ОС Linux, составило 67
процентов (12,892 серверов), а против Microsoft Windows -- 23,2 процента
(4,626 серверов). У BSD-серверов этот показатель значително меньше:
всего 360 атак (менее двух процентов) увенчалось успехом. По суммарной
статистике за этот год Linux также удерживает пальмовую ветвь по количеству
успешных атак, обращенных против серверов, работающих под его
управлением: всего их насчитывается 51 процент. Однако, среди серверов,
принадлежащих правительствам, ситуация совершенно другая: Microsoft
Windows подверглась 51,4 проценту успешных атак в августе, а Linux -- 14,3%.
