Добавлю, что сам бинарник XFree86 теперь лежит в пакете XFree86-server
(почему он у меня сразу не поставился - не знаю, возможно просто по
неаккуратности).
Курсор стал действительно полупрозрачным. А вот с раскладкой клавиатуры -
пока не совсем так (возможно если залезть, то можно починить, но копаться -
руки не доходят).
И общее впечатление - стало побыстрее.
