Subject: [sisyphus] fontconfig & Xft
Hi!
Завтра в Sisyphus появятся пакет fontconfig* и Xft*. Вскоре они будут
использованы для перехода новую систему рендеринга -- Xft2, которая
станет основной в XFree86-4.3.0, уже сейчас используется в Rawhide и
войдет в RH-8.0.
Пакеты эти _сейчас_ не нужны никакому приложению. Более того, их
установка сделает невозможной работу текущего пакета
mozilla/galeon/skipstone/nautilus с антиалиасингом.
Таким образом, устанавливать их, если Вы не понимаете, зачем Вам это
надо, сейчас не рекомендуется.
Если все же Вы это сделаете, то запускайте mozilla c MOZILLA_XFT=0 и не
задавайте вопросы, почему что-то антиалиасной прекратило работать :-)
