Хоть подход не нравится, но я смирился, что фича plymouth это чёрная дыра.

У меня другой вопрос раз мы смотрим на dracut.

Не стоит ли также скопировать у них код по вычислению tty вместо
хардкода  --tty=/dev/tty1 ?
