Это к вопросу об уменьшении размера initramfs-образа. lakostis@ обратил
внимание, что на машине с nvidia в образ попадают nouveau и nvidia. И
проблема в том, что nouveau тянет за собой массу firmware. Поскольку в
образ попадает и конфиги modprobe, то blcklist там срабатывает как надо и
ничего плохого не происходит... кроме пустого расходования места.
Игнорирование blacklist происходит по историческим причинам, когда не было
kmod и своей утилиты, а был modprobe из module-init-tools.
В этой версии использование blacklist добавлено, но пока что выключено по
умолчанию. Включить его можно добавив USE_MODPROBE_BLACKLIST=1 в
initrd.mk.
Если проблем не возникнет, то можно будет включить её по умолчанию.
