Не всё то индекс, что индексом зовётся. К примеру, index to economic
progress будет не индекс экономического прогресса, как это кажется на
первый взгляд, а показатель экономического развития. Для устройств
index имеет смысл переводить как "указатель" или "метка", а не как
индекс. То есть в данном случае "Device Index" скорее "Метка
устройства" чем "Индекс устройства"
