Я во-первых не понял, к чему там упоминается AC97 software sound chips.
index действует только в том случае, если хотя бы одна из карточек -
AC97? И что такое real soundcard? Внешняя?
А во-вторых, может написать, что index - это номер карточки, который в
результате мы увидим в /proc/asound/cards?

Хотя, зачем мне вторая неиспользуемая карточка, может ее все же можно выключить?
