Вот, что я сделал:
al@wind ~ $ cat /etc/udev/rules.d/10-local.rules
KERNEL="ttyS14", SYMLINK="modem"
al@wind ~ $
Кроме этого, для 2,6 указывал в lilo.conf параметр ядру pci=routeirq
потому-что на мамке новой много всякой всячины насовано было и irq
заканчивались.
