Subject: [Hardware] Чипсет ATi rx330 и Линукс?

У одного знакомого товарища материнская плата на чипсете ATi rx330.
Когда прошлый раз пытался поставить на ту машину Линукс, то все
ставилось, но диски работали с черепашьей скоростью: не более 1-2Мб/с, и
либо трансфер с диска, либо по сети, одновременно никак.
Пришла пора попробовать Линукс на той машине еще раз. Погуглил, но
ничего вразумительного не нашел. На сайте ATi пишут, что суппорт этого
чипсета есть для вин и для Линукса. Но больше нигде, даже в исходниках
ядра, этот суппорт не упоминается.
Может кто сталкивался с этой проблемой?
P.S. Да, знаю что нужно делать с теми, кто покупает платы на таких
чипсетах. Но уже ничего изменить нельзя.
