Откровенно говоря, я не вижу связи между URL'ами Intel и Areca.
Теоретически драйвер ARECA можно собрать для ядер от 2.2 до 2.6
включительно, а практически вам сюда -

Это GPL драйверы для SATA-контроллеров ARECA, и "из коробки" эти
контроллеры точно не поддерживаются в RHEL 4. Не вижу никаких признаков
модуля arcmsr и в ALM 2.4 (более того, в Sisyphus с ядром
2.6.14-std26-up-alt2).
