А собственно почему она должна падать ?
Скорость USB 2.0 (максимальная) 480 Mbit/s, на самом деле рабочая
конечно меньше, но все равно, получаем что опция sync просто напросто
уменьшает скорость работы с hdd примерно в два раза, т.к. через USB 2.0
не работают режимы UDMA (кстати, может быть и работают?), то получаем
скорость hdd 13 Mb/с, скорость без буфферизации - 6Mb/с, вполне нормально.
