Вообще-то это для Самсунга (вроде как официальная рекомендация при тех же
симптомах), но, поскольку многие ноутбуки разных фирм часто по сути могут
быть одним и тем же, то стоит попробовать (вместе и по частям).
video добавить в blacklist (который в /etc/modprobe.d)
а в lilo добавить в соответствующую секцию
addappend="acpi_fake_ecdt=1"
