Я вот с некоторых пор раскаиваюсь в том, что единственная
production-система с LVM (M24; оно работает; LVM1; так и не
понадобилось ни разу ресайзить, вопрос места всё равно решался
втыканием ещё пары дисков на ходу) имеет /usr и /var на LVM,
хотя маленький (~300M) корень -- просто на зеркале.
Теперь чтоб её растащить -- придётся или корень переносить,
или ещё чего танцевать, или сдвигать данные в сторону и строить
с нуля (поскольку времени на танцы скорее всего не будет).
