Вы, наверное, имели ввиду передачу, потому как на приём именно 56к...
К внешнему модему у меня тоже претензий нет (за 4 года!). Особенно
впечатлила документация, которая шла в комплекте - что-то типа учебника
по модемам страниц на 150, где всё-всё было расписано...
