rpm.pbone.net говорит, что у SuSE эта утилита лежит в пакете joystick, а у
Федоры - в пакете gpm. У нас её нет вообще.
Таким же способом подцепляются некоторые джойстики с последовательным
интерфейсом (это работает даже в 2.4, а вот драйвера для таких мышей там
нет, хотя патчи были).

Просто в 2.6 он гвоздями прибит в ядро (точнее, не совсем - при включении
CONFIG_EMBEDDED его всё-таки можно вынести в модуль или отрубить совсем).
