Пару строк для архива об установке линукса на сервер Kraftway GEG Express 200 ED20 (http://www.kraftway.ru/products/ed20.html). По совету уважаемых подписчиков: http://lists.altlinux.ru/pipermail/hardware/2004-August/001554.html встроенный RAID контроллер был отключен и заменен на Intel SRCU42L -- вся установка происходила на Intel'овский RAID, поэтому за работоспособность именно Adaptec AIC-7902 ничего сказать не могу, да и тем более что много уже отрицательного было про него сказано: http://www.sensi.org/~alec/unix/redhat/raid_320.html За недоступностью ALT Master 2.4, в качестве тестирования была установлена бета Compact'а 2.3 -- надеюсь что М2.4 поведет себя как минимум не хуже! $) Установка прошла удачно. Дисковые разделы были доступны как /dev/sda (как в случае RAID0 так и RAID5). Почти все что нужно определилось и заработало. Однако, Compact установил однопроцессорное ядро, попытка установить smp с диска компакта не увенчалась успехом -- ядро из сизифа встало как влитое (2.4.26-smp-alt5). Осталось разобраться с QLogic Corp. QLA2312 Fibre Channel Adapter, но для него пока еще не готов внешний дисковый массив. -- У каждого в башке свои тараканы...
