Кратко: туда им и дорога. Как и некоторым другим.
Подробнее:
1) Пакет emacs-color-themes и неопределённое множество других я не вижу
смысла собирать в дистрибутив. Учитывая, что в emacs 24 по умолчанию
включен свой пакетный менеджер(elpa/package.el). Страждущим предлагаю
пользоваться им, а майнтайнерам пакетов в сизифе удалить неактуальное.
2) Пакет emacs-3w починить при сборке emacs24 не получилось. Надо или
править много elisp-кода или собирать новую апстримную версию. Слишком
много работы для того кто пакетом не пользуется . Хотел удалить
рекурсивно, но потом решил ждать естественной смерти, вдруг кому-то
понадобится. Похоже, не понадобился.
