Buildreq не всегда правду говорит. К прискорбию.
Вот этого добра ему точно не надо:
motif-devel esound-devel sendmail-common isdn4k-utils;
--with-ldap - одобрямс :), соответственно + libldap-devel,
еще нужен собственно XFree86 по причине /usr/X11R6/include/X11/bitmaps/gray

Не особенно, впрочем, если таковая появилась бы, имело бы смысл
завести различный custom.el (как минимум) для разных версий.
И еще, gtk/gnome обязательно должны быть мульными ?
