Для данного конкретного пакета я ничего против такого решения не имею. Я
рад, что замарать руки пришлось не мне. У меня этот пакет блокировал
сборку питона 3.8 и я честно собирался его починить.
А вообще хотелось бы выдвинуть предложение на обсуждение: улучшить ацл
всех питоновских пакетов ограничив его группой @python. Не для кого не
секрет, что качество питоновской части репозитория сейчас не в самом
лучшем состоянии. Было бы здорово, если бы за процедурой перевода
модулей с питона2 на питон3 наблюдали ответственные люди. А то вроде бы
аппрувы и дизапрувы есть, а толку от них нет, потому что такие таски
сделанные "на скорую руку" пролетают в репозиторий без проблем.
