Кстати, о граблях.
теперь это NVidia "legacy", крайне нужные
для поддержки 3D в старых картах (Riva, Vanta , GeForce).
Новые nvidia_glx_src их не поддерживают :(
Я вчера напоролся на эти грабли ставя Compact 3.0
(где 7174 нет, а есть только 7676)
любимому дедушке, после чего он не мог пингвина гонять.
Хорошо, под рукой был модем, скачал и собрал 7174.
По честному, теперь надо 2 набора
nvidia_glx_latest / nvidia_glx_legacy
и в каждом ядре по 2 модуля nvidia.ko / nvidia_legacy.ko
+ hwdatabase support.
ведь отсутствие поддержки "из коробки"
Riva TNT/Riva TNT2/Vanta/GeForce --- это не есть серьезно.
