Там это сделано так:
%package gnus
Summary: Read news and mail from within Emacs
Group: Networking/Mail
Provides: gnus = %name:%version-%release
Conflicts: gnus < %name:%version-%release, gnus > %name:%version-%release
Requires: %name-common = %version-%release
