Клонировать оба проекта мне действительно не сложно, а насладиться в полной мере разбором отличий уже сложнее, так как не хватает опыта и квалификации. Поэтому и обращаюсь к вам, как к специалисту, за разъяснениями. А вы ломаетесь… Насколько я понимаю, вы подозреваете разработчиков ffmpeg в каких-то инсинуациях с changelog-ом.
