Говорят, нету надёжного способа делать бакапы через lvm snaphots
для FS, смонтированных в domU:

Похоже, что идеальный способ создания бакапов - это кластерная
установка сервиса и поочерёдная остановка его узлов.
Интересно, есть ли средство для одномоментного создания и
изоляции полной копии VE, чтобы эту копию остановить,
отмонтировать и сбакапить ?
