  Ни фига не понимаю...

  Если модуль вызывать непосредственно, то вывод модуля выглядит
нормально (на мой взгляд), но если через запускать alterator -- он
(alterator) виснет.

  Запуск непосредственно (переносы строк в скобках добавлены почтовым
клиентом):
