Исправлять конечно все равно надо.. но все-таки ;-)
Вот сейчас обнаружил, что e2fsimage, которым я готовлю образ
установленной системы для livecd копирует абсолютный симлинк без
модификации. Соответственно в образе выползает путь к тому месту, где он
лежал на диске в развернутом виде.
В принципе я конечно уже почти исправил (осталось только размер таких
инод после записи информации о линке менять, и это уже завтра)... но все
таки ;-(
