Еще те коммиты, которые этот коммит молча откатывал. Т.е. сам код
практически не изменился.

Пришлось бы откатывать этот коммит и отдельно коммиты им откатываемые.
Потом каждый раз спотыкаться об это в истории мне совсем не улыбается.
