Релиз texlive 2017 В Сизифе.
Особенности сборки и свой опыт
я по возможности задокументировал на

Внес косметические обновления (rpm-build-texmf -> rpm-build-tex,
рекомендуемые BuildRequires:) в
https://www.altlinux.org/TeX_Policy
https://www.altlinux.org/TeX_Policy_(en)
для соответствия текущей ситуации.
По сути не менял ничего, поэтому,
думаю, переутверждать TeX_Policy не стоит.
Что не доделано?
Поддержка /usr/share/texmf.
Имеется частично: в конфигах прописано, texhash отрабатывает,
но нет поддержки старой схемы с
/etc/texmf/fmt.d /etc/texmf/language.d /etc/texmf/updmap.d
от чего есть 1 пострадавший,
пакет fonts-type1-urw-tex не рабочий.
С другой стороны, полная поддержка /usr/share/texmf
сейчас не критична, так как texlive свежий.
Доделать можно, но у меня уже наметился перегруз
по другим задачам, поэтому не буду плодить
сущности без необходимости.
Что ждать дальше?
Летом, как выйдет, texlive 2018 обновление
того же разлива (mageia). Чем хорош импорт,
после того как полезные изменения оформлены
в скрипт импорта, обновление становится
на порядки легче.
В остальном, чтобы можно было что-то серьёзно менять,
надо ждать новую сборочницу.
