Ну так там configure.ac нету.
Была бы связка configure.ac+Makefile.am,
можно было бы от buildreq-src что-то требовать.
Или хотя бы файлы для CMake. Поддержка CMake еще
только начальная, но уже можно было бы допиливать.
С другой стороны, проектов наподобие mplayer с самопальными
системами сборки не так много.
