Я сделал
$ git clone git://git.altlinux.org/people/lav/packages/etersoft-build-utils
поискал там упоминание ls-remote, но не нашёл.
Следовательно, для определения формата изготавливаемого бэкпорта (git или
srpm) и проверки наследования коммитов потребуется дополнительный инструмент.
