Озадачился тем, что необходимо определить
на каком именно дистрибутиве исполняется скрипт.
Известны ли какие-либо наработки в этой области?
Конечно, в поисках файлов
/etc/slackware-version
/etc/altlinux-release
/etc/debian_version
/etc/redhat-release
/etc/SuSE-release
/etc/turbolinux-release
/etc/mandrake-release
полажу, и содержимое посравниваю. Но может есть какие интересные
мысли?
Вот что прочитал об этом в vmware-config.pl:
"if an FHS guy is listening, we really need a generic way to
do this"
