Задача -- полностью перейти на 8.x, при этом оставив в репозитории 7.x по
крайней мере до осени.
Проблема -- я не нашёл эффективного метода определения с какой версией
postgresql собран каждый конкретный пакет.
Зависимости ставятся обычно на libpq.so.3. У 7.x это libpq.so.3.1, у 8.x
это libpq.3.2. Вторая цифра в зависимость, увы, не попадает.
Пример -- courier-authdaemon-pgsql.
Есть пакеты, в которых явно присутствует зависимость от libpq3 -- с ними
проще, можно это отследить и заменить зависимостью на libpq3.2.
