Ситуация с этой штукой следующая:
на 2.6 полезность её, видимо, невелика, и по мере допи[сн]ывания sysfs
будет уменьшаться. По крайней мере, если речь идет о hotplug дивайсах
(я смотрел на примере USB-storage).
на 2.4 уже сейчас есть способ узнать, чему соответствует тот или иной
SCSI-адрес, достаточно загрузить _наш_ (т.е. патченный) модуль sd_mod,
а потом посмотреть в /proc/scsi/scsi_sd
Таким образом полезность этой штуки определяется тем, как скоро в
ALT будет переезд на 2.6 ядро и новую, сверкающую систему
конфигурирования.
